Kirkwood Expands with Two HP Devices

Kirkwood announced the expansion of its digital printing platform with the installation of an HP Indigo 12000 digital offset press and the HP Latex R2000 wide-format printer.
 
“Founded [more than] 45 years ago, Kirkwood, has always understood the need to adapt to industry changes and recognizes the omnipresent shift to inkjet,” said Mark Nappa, chief sales officer.
 
The HP Indigo 12000 Digital Offset Press features the 29˝ format, full-color output using HP Indigo ElectroInk.
 
“With the Indigo expansion, we will triple our capacity and output,” Nappa said. “The HP technology combined with unique capabilities that reduce paper waste and increase productivity, efficiency and sustainability are unprecedented in digital printing.”
 
“Digital applications for wide-format is growing, and designers and buyers need more sophisticated solutions to differentiate themselves and effectively add value to brands,” said Nappa.
